Process
Hakan's design process begins with the research phase. The first stage is spent exploring museums and galleries before focusing on the story's opening. Researching old books or specific topics also helps us a lot in putting them together.
Once the mood board is complete, each element of our design is hand-drawn with pen or pencil or hand-drawn directly on the computer and colored by the Hakan Design Team. This process can take 4 – 6 weeks to complete.
Drawing
& Editing
Starting from hand-drawn sketches – there is soul at every stage of the Hakan process. This ensures that each corner of each design is unique, giving the wearer flexibility and variety when knotting the finished scarf.
Our illustrations are then scanned in high resolution and edited to create the final work. We take great care in our unique designs and ensure that every line is in the right place before we begin the creative painting phase.
Colouring, Painting & Printing
Each variation of the model is then completed digitally by Hakan. Hakan's use of bold colors and tones, his signature vision of color and impeccable attention to detail allow you to enhance your outfit choices, telling your own story through color and imaginative nuances.
We are proud to say that all of our scarves are printed and manufactured in Vietnam. We are carefully perfecting each design with color profiles to achieve a truly two-sided result. We always choose good materials to ensure quality and luxury. This makes Hakan always the most satisfying choice for demanding customers.
